What types of structures do you build?

We build custom sheds, pergolas, gazebos, and pavilions. All four structures across all of Nassau and Suffolk County. We don't do decks, fences, or pool installation — we specialize in the four structures we know best.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We're licensed in both Nassau County (H4218000000) and Suffolk County (62441-H). We carry $2,000,000 general liability and workers' compensation for all crew members. We can provide certificates of insurance before the job starts.

Do you use subcontractors?

No. The crew on your job is our crew. Kevin and Anthony have built our team of 14 full-time builders who handle every project. We never hand off to sub-crews.

What areas do you serve?

All of Nassau County and all of Suffolk County. No travel fees anywhere on Long Island. If you're in Nassau or Suffolk, we come to you.

Do you handle permits?

Yes — for all projects that require one. We pull permits in every Nassau and Suffolk municipality. Permit costs (filing fees, inspection fees, drawings where required) are included in your written estimate.

Do all sheds need a permit on Long Island?

It depends on size and foundation type. In most Nassau and Suffolk towns, sheds under 100–144 square feet on a temporary skid foundation don't require a permit. Anything on a permanent foundation or over that footprint typically does. We determine your specific requirements at the estimate.

How long does the permit process take?

Most Nassau and Suffolk permits take 3–6 weeks. We file immediately after the deposit is received. In some municipalities we can get a counter permit in 1–2 weeks. We schedule your build date accounting for the realistic permit timeline.

What if my neighbor doesn't agree with the build location?

We confirm setback requirements during the estimate and file drawings that meet your municipality's codes. As long as the structure complies with the setback rules, neighbor approval isn't required.

How long does installation take?

Accepted Answer

Small sheds: 1–2 days. Standard sheds and pergolas: 1–3 days. Gazebos: 2–4 days. Custom builds, screened pavilions, and motorized louvered pergolas: 3–7 days. We give a firm schedule in writing before we start.

What foundation options are available?

Accepted Answer

Pressure-treated skid foundations, concrete piers or tube footings, crushed stone pads, and full concrete slabs. The right choice depends on your drainage, soil type, and intended use. Kevin evaluates the site and recommends during the estimate.

Do you clean up after the installation?

Yes. The crew cleans up every day and does a full site cleanup at project completion. You'll find the yard in the same condition as when we arrived — or better.

What happens if it rains during installation?

We monitor the forecast and reschedule if conditions are unsafe for building. We don't rush installations in bad weather. Your project start date has buffer time built in for weather delays.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Kevin or Anthony visits your property, measures the space, discusses options, and gives you a detailed written quote — usually within 48 hours of the walk-through.

Are permits included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Yes — all permit filing fees, inspection fees, and required drawings are included in your written estimate. There are no surprise permit costs after you sign.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We work with several Long Island home improvement lenders. Visit our financing page for options. Monthly payment estimates are available before you commit to the project.

What's the deposit structure?

Accepted Answer

We typically require a 30% deposit to start and pull permits, with 40% at foundation completion, and the remaining 30% on the day of final walkthrough. We don't ask for 50% upfront.
